Valley General Hospital

Kirtley-Cole Associates has completed multiple projects for the hospital, including the following:

Emergency Department, Medical Records, Operating Rooms – Interior remodel of the existing hospital to create a new admitting area for the Emergency Department, new Medical Records storage area, new OR storage area, a new x-ray room, and upgraded finishes in portions of the public corridors. Also included was a structural upgrade to the roof to support new HVAC units.

The Emergency Department renovation helped to reduce patient wait times and improve patient flow, facility aesthetics and patient privacy. The project included a new entrance for walk-in Emergency Department patients to allow for a separate ambulance entrance, which siginificantly improves the patient experience by enhancing privacy. The area features a new waiting room, admitting stations and triage area for the emergency department.

Pharmacy, IT, Wound Care – Remodel of the existing IT Server Room to create a larger room; remodel of an existing vacant space to create a new Pharmacy; remodel of an existing vacant space to create a new Wound Care Center complete with 2 hyperbaric chambers.
