Kirtley-Cole Associates teamed with the Archdiocese of Seattle to renovate the Christ the King Parish School. Work included a second floor addition, as well as seismic upgrades and new interior finishes, doors, casework and windows to the existing 1930’s era building. New classrooms were constructed throughout. By involving Kirtley-Cole early in the process, shop drawings and coordination of materials began long before actual construction. This allowed the team to complete the project in just one summer. The project included renovation of the building’s 1st Floor (9,386 SF) and 2nd Floor (2,998 SF, including a 1,000 SF new addition) for a total construction area of 12,384 SF.
