8th Street Cross-Dock Facility

Kirtley-Cole Associates completed construction of a new 38,871 SF single-story cross-dock distribution facility on a 16.74 acre site previously owned by the Port of Everett and formerly occupied by Weyerhaeuser. The facility is located within a portion of the 86-acre industrial waterfront property in the Riverside Business Park.

The site also houses an onsite fuel station and a security guard shack. The facility is backed up by generator power when required.

Amenities in the 4,382 SF office space of the building include a meeting area, centrally located conference room, dispatch center, driver check-in, break rooms, office space and restrooms.

Construction crews regraded the site from end to end and installed all new utilities and infrastructure for all of the buildings. To meet seismic requirements, the facility is situated upon (200) 20” diameter steel piles driven to depths of up to 70’ below grade.
