LMI Aerospace Autoclave Addition

Kirtley-Cole Associates recently teamed with LMI Aerospace to construct a 1,000 SF addition to their existing aerospace facility. The new addition houses a specialized and highly technical autoclave for aerospace testing. The project included a nearly 3-story CMU enclosure, as well as a large liquid nitrogen tank pad and site improvements. The project required highly precise work, including a mere 1/16” tolerance for imbeds used to secure the autoclave in place. The team worked extremely well together, ultimately finishing the project with zero punchlist items.
