Kirtley-Cole Associates has teamed with Seattle Pacific University to complete multiple projects on their occupied campus, some of which include:

Hill Hall Restroom Upgrades
Extensive alteration and upgrade of 5 existing group bathrooms in the women’s wing; 4 existing group bathrooms in the men’s wing; 2 existing public restrooms located on the first floor; and bathrooms in 5 individual units. The fast-tracked project also included new interior finishes; ADA upgrades; new outlet and lighting fixtures; new plumbing fixtures; and new paint in corridors and stairways.

Ashton Hall Restroom Upgrades
Extensive renovation and upgrade of 14 restrooms in Ashton Hall, an occupied, 6-story dormitory with two separate resident wings. The project consisted of two phases where KCA renovated the Hall’s 14 restrooms over two summers, thus allowing the University to partially occupy the building during construction.

Miller Science Learning Center
Renovation of the 54,000 SF building that converted most wet lab areas to dry areas; brought the building up to modern ADA standards; and linked the building to the rest of the campus with telecommunication and data upgrades. Work included renovation of science teaching areas, classrooms, offices, common areas and minor upgrades to the exterior.

Family & Consumer Science Cooking Lab
Approximately 3,000 SF renovation to create a new cooking lab in Peterson Hall. The project involved a complete renovation of half of the basement floor and included structural upgrades and all new appliances, exhaust systems for the pantry and range hoods, cabinets, stainless sinks and countertops and stone countertops. The other half of the basement floor received all new flooring.

Ashton & Hill Halls Data & Telecommunication Improvements
Installation of new technology insfrastructures in two existing residence halls totaling 166,000 SF: Ashton (218 rooms) and Hill (193 rooms). The team provided new inter-building overhead multipair copper and optical fiber cabling systems, a new intra-building backbone and horizontal cabling path throughout both residence halls, and a Cat-6 cabling system.
